In Writing

In writing where does one begin?
No one knows where thoughts may go.
Sometimes they lead far and wide and sometimes …
Thoughts, writing. I want to, but can I?

If one just wrote without thinking, could they?
Where would the words come from?
Where would they lead? Would they just end?
No explanation given, none expected.
Thoughts. My thoughts. What are they?

Writing comes easily to some and to others, much harder
to put down on paper what is in one’s head.
All just words until strung together,
making phrases, sentences, paragraphs.
Who can make sense of what is written down?

In writing where does one end?
No one knows where thoughts may go.
Sometimes they lead far and wide and sometimes…
Thoughts, writing. I want to, but did I?

Newsflash

The windows are both trimmed out in Amanda's room! They might not be perfect, but certainly good enough for Camp Littlemore. Given the challenge of trimming around both drywall and pine wainscoting on one of the windows, I think we did a fairly decent job.
